Sophie Lever
Solicitor and Sole Director of Lever Law


Sophie Lever has over 30 years’ experience in the legal industry in Queensland, starting work as a paralegal in 1987 and then completing her Bachelor of Laws in 2003. Sophie specialises in all aspects of property law, estate planning and administration, retirement villages law, Foreign Investment Review Board aspects of property purchases, commercial leasing and small business transactions.

Sophie is a member of the Queensland Law Society and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.

On a community level, Sophie holds an Surf Life Saving Bronze Medallion and a Commendation for Brave Conduct awarded by the Australian Government. She has served as a Treasurer of the Bli Bli State School P & C, a Director of the charitable organisation "Breast Angels", a Board Member of the charitable organisation "Beautiful You" and is currently the President of Sunshine Coast Business Associates Inc, and the Secretary and a Life Member of the Twin Waters Residents’ Association.

When not at work, Sophie likes to spend time travelling, cooking and gardening.

Len Lever Practice Manager


Len is our practice manager and comes to us vastly overqualified, having worked in the financial computing sector for most of his career, having held the positions of General Manager, IT Manager, Analayst Programmer, Project Manager and Payroll Manager for various corporate companies.

When not in the office Len can be found on the adjoining Twin Waters Golf Course trying to improve his handicap.

Stan Rafty
Specialist – Family Law
BCom, M.Com, Dip Ed, LL.B.


Stan Rafty joined Lever Law in August 2018. He is a valuable addition to the team as he is a very experienced practitioner in Family Law, and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist. He can also assist in matters of Estate Litigation, Civil Litigation and Personal Injuries. Stan’s no-nonsense attitude to his clients results in cost effective and efficient legal services. Stan has been practising on the Sunshine Coast since 1987 and has been a solicitor since 1985. You may already have crossed paths with Stan as he has worked with Schultz Toomey O’Brien Solicitors/the Slater and Gordon group for the past 17 years. Stan enjoys keeping fit and you can find him most days swimming laps at the local swimming pool.

Joshua Reeves


Joshua Reeves is a dedicated solicitor with a unique background that enriches his legal practice. After completing his Bachelor of Laws at the University of New England (UNE) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law, Josh was admitted to both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Prior to his legal career, Josh worked as a baker and in the social service field, in these roles Josh gained valuable experience in assisting the general public and vulnerable people of different upbringings. This background instilled in him a strong desire to help people, which he continues to fulfill in his current role as a solicitor with Lever Law. With his diverse experiences and commitment to serving others, Josh brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to Lever Law. While not at work Josh enjoys spending time with his six children.

Jane Macdonnell

Jane has extensive experience in property and commercial law matters. Having commenced her legal career in 2003, Jane has worked for both boutique and top-tier firms. Jane predominantly focuses on residential and mixed-use development projects, strata and community title structuring, general body corporate advice and management rights. She also has extensive experience in commercial law including business sales and purchases, commercial and retail leasing as well as larger commercial property sales and purchases.

Jane is a keen educator, having held tutoring roles for Queensland University of Technology, Sunshine Coast University and is currently a moderator and lecturer for the College of Law.

Jane holds a Bachelor of Laws, with first class honours, from the University of Queensland, and is a member of the Australian College of Strata Lawyers.

Holly Bott


Before joining Lever Law, Holly worked for several years in customer service/hospitality roles and prides herself on delivering an exceptional client experience.  Holly has adapted to her role as a Conveyancer at Lever Law comprehensively and quickly.  She has a keen attention to detail, which is a real asset in conveyancing.  Holly has recently commenced studying her Bachelor of Laws at University and hopes to transition into a role as a Solicitor with Lever Law on completion.  In her downtime, Holly enjoys going to the beach with her dog, travelling and cooking.

Kennedy Mullins

After having just travelled around Australia with my family for the last 6 months, I have come back home to the Sunshine Coast to settle down again. 

In my downtime, you’ll usually find me at the beach with my children, camping or looking for our next adventure. 

I have always had a strong passion for customer service and helping people and cannot wait to continue this throughout my journey at Lever Law.

Paige Reilly

Paige is currently studying her Bachelor of Laws at Sunshine Coast University and hopes to gain lots of experience in all areas of law before transitioning into a role as a Solicitor. She has started her adventure into law as one of our receptionists. Her friendly and positive attitude is a very welcoming addition to the Team and creates a relaxed environment for incoming clients. In her downtime, Paige enjoys reading and seeking a wider knowledge of the world.

Sienna Neely

Sienna graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s in business and a Cert III in visual arts, She has grown up on the coast and has been involved with the community from a young age. Sienna completed my SLS bronze medallion and was a lifeguard at Noosa main beach during high school and has a passion for aviation in which she aims to complete her pilots license in the coming years.

In her spare time, Sienna enjoy's cooking, reading, going to the beach, and watching NRL.
